ROUGH LAYOUT OF CONTENTS PAGE
This is a rough layout of my contents page for my college magazine. I have used a standard column structure so that my contents page conforms with the conventions of a contents page. I did my sketch in photo shop. I have kept my layout simple, as i think most college magazines have a simple , straight forward structure; unlike a music magazine which include more features/conventions.
ROUGH LAYOUT OF FRONT COVER
My main cover line will state "your way to get an A". I thought that this would be the best cover line as it is very catchy but it would also be very appealing for the reader to look at the article. As illustrated in the sketch, my magazine front cover includes all of the conventions commonly found in a college magazine. I did the sketch on Photoshop, to give a visual representation of what the cover will look like when completed.

For my cover image I think it would be most appropriate to have my photo within the LRC of one of the college's cafes. I think this would be the most appropriate as it would make the most of the college's facilities by showing the reader our great social areas within college. I will also make sure that the cover star is smiling to ensure that they look enthusiastic about learning witch will comply with the conventions of a traditional college magazine.
