MAIN TASK - INITIAL IDEAS
Genre Of Music Magazine
My music magazine will be a rock magazine as I think rock magazines allow you to be extremely creative with graphics. For example I love the font that Kerrang have used for the "hot Shots" cover line. I also think that there are fewer rock magazine on the market rather than indie magazines where there are many contenders.
Target Audience
Due to my genre being quite open rather than something more specific like pop punk. My target audience will also be less specific. The magazine will be aimed at people aged form around 15yrs-30yrs. I came tot his decision because I plan to incorporate metal pop punk and classic rock which will appeal to people both at the higher end and the lower end of the age scale.
